On the seventh day of Christmas, I was completely tired with Christmas shopping, Christmas crowds, and Christmas traffic. This is why I travel, to avoid the madness. A great place to go? Thailand.
What does Thailand offer? Warm weather, great food, and kind people. Now that’s a Christmas present.
We visited Thailand from the most Southern towns (Ao Nang) to the Northern cities (Chiang Mai). In every place we went, we found the perfect market to buy Christmas presents. Unique, handmade, and inexpensive. This is a match made in heaven, if you ask me.
The ornament was bought in a Wat (temple) with a Thai Baht (pronounced “bɑːt” – official Thai currency). So, we bought a lot, in a Wat, for a few baht. Childish, yes. Funny, I think so.
