Twelve Days of Christmas Ornaments – Day Eleven – Italy

Hello Day Eleven… e Buon Giorno a Tutti!  It’s Italy!

Italy is one of my favorite places on Earth.  I’ve lived there for several years and have such great memories.  I’ve laughed with Italians, eaten with Italians, been cussed out by Italians, and worked side-by-side with Italians.  Some of the best people you could ever met.

We luckily finished our RTW travel in Italy so that the girls could appreciate the country they lived in when just infants.  They seem to remember only gelato and Kinder Sorpresa chocolate eggs.  Go figure!

This ornament is from Venice and is very characteristic for the area.  Characteristic because it is blown glass, not because there is a Santa on a gondola.  That is just funny.
